Take Teaching Beyond the Classroom!

Are you a NYS-certified teacher looking to develop your capacity to help students beyond the traditional classroom? Here’s your opportunity to learn critical information literacy skills and earn a highly marketable second certification!

The Teacher-2-Librarian (T2L) Program enables certified classroom teachers to

  • gain their M.S. in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University or M.S. in Library Media from St. John Fisher University,
  • complete the course requirements to attain New York State certification as a PreK-12 school library media specialist, and

The T2L program will be offered as a blended experience with primarily online classes and some face-to-face classes in New York City.
