In the MicroCert program, we believe that choice matters. Over the course of time, we’ve developed 25 high-quality courses so that whether you’re a teacher, leader or school-based staff member, you could choose a MicroCert course that would best fit your professional needs. This season, the choice is still yours! With our new self-guided courses, you can choose the competency you want to develop and the modules you’d like to work on from wherever you are, whenever you can! Each of our courses can be applied towards New York State PD requirements for CTLE hours.*
Self-Guided Google Workspace Courses
By signing up for any of the following courses, you'll be granted access to rich sets of learning materials on the course start date. You'll have opportunity to earn CTLE hours by authentically showcasing your learning through final projects within the six week time frame!

G Suite Foundations
Participants who successfully complete the course will demonstrate the ability to use G Suite for Education tools to manage classroom workflow and create engaging student lessons, activities, and assessment opportunities. Participants will extend that competency by aligning course assignments with specific SAMR levels and reflecting upon each tool’s impact on student digital skills and citizenship.

G Suite for Teachers I
Participants who successfully complete this course will demonstrate the ability to successfully create an online learning hub to (a) support the management of the student work process via streamlined procedures that increase time on task, improve student organization, and boost the efficiency with which materials are distributed and collected, (b) improve the timeliness and quality of feedback that is possible within the constraints of limited teacher time, and (c) better elicit evidence of student learning that can inform instructional decisions.
